An A-Z of an Uncertain Future (2023). Mixed media collages. 297 mm x 297mm each, with accompanying text by Sarah Wood.
With a short accompanying text (written by artist Sarah Wood) this series of twenty-six mixed media collages form an art alphabet that layers histories from the Second World War and its aftermath up to the present day. The collage alphabet acts as an encouragement to construct a new grammar for future possibilities – a vehicle to question the way we might view the future in this time of trauma and uncertainty.
The work followed on from the Tightrope Walking residency at and commission by Homerton College, Cambridge.
